I heard that the Theon storyline will make sense once we get to know why he's being tortured. After last week's lull they brought their a-game once again. Loved the work they did on the dragons.. they look so real!
Just realized I got this and the Walking Dead thread mixed up. Lots of talking about the book/graphic novel in that thread. I guess my point still stands even if there's no instances of it in this thread. Just would hate for a major plotline to be revealed because somebody got chatty about the happenings from the book.
I think everyone has done a good job at avoiding book discussion here. Let's keep it strictly show-related.
I've read some spoilers in the IMDb threads, some on accident and some not. The story is moving so slowly that I can't help it sometimes.
They're splitting the third book into two seasons. Some of the the individual character arcs are progressing so slowly because there are just so many damn characters in this universe. This show could easily be two hours long each episode.
Theon's torture stuff is full on uncomfortable to watch. Especially last week with letting him get built up just to chop it off...or whatever that guy did!
Shit - I think Daenerys' bath scene was a welcomed sight. I thought it was a great episode this week. Pretty cool ending.
Episode was alright. The whitewalker shit came outta nowhere. Anybody noticed Sam used that antique knife to stab the dude... and he left it at the scene. What is up with that? Btw, am I the only one who thinks this season has been kinda slow?
They've always kind of paced the show like this. I like the more character-based episodes like this one. Dragons and White Walkers are cool, but one of my favorite scenes of this season was when Tywin walked up the steps towards Joffrey in the iron throne. The look of ass-clenching terror on Joffrey's face was priceless.
Yeah I absolutely loved that scene and how it was directed. That episode was written by George RR himself.. it had to be special.
Lol, that would've been my reaction, if my friend didn't spoil it for me Oh well, was a pretty intense scene either way. Great episode, lots of fighting, can't wait for next episode!
I know how much that sucks. I had the same thing happen to me with season 1, but I've avoided spoilers like the plague ever since. I feel like I need to go hug a puppy after tonight's episode, haha.
