Godsmack

I think this hasn't been done before. Anyways ...

I'm a HUGE Godsmack fan. They are F amazing. Sully is a great vocalist. My fav. song is Straight Out of Line.

Anyone likes them?

 

Godsmack are wicked I was really bumed when they cancelled their uk tour here last yr (or the yr before) but I like straight out of line

My Top 5 songs would probably be : 1 ~ Straight Out of Line, 2 ~ Awake, 3 ~ Running Blind, 4 ~ Moonbaby and 5 ~ Realign.

Albums:1 ~ Faceless, 2 ~ Self Titled, 3 ~ Awake and 4 ~ The Other Side.

 

Godsmack is one of the worst bands of our time.

Their first CD was amazing, but Awake and Faceless sound exactly like it. All three CDs are exactly the same.

I have no idea why "Straight Out Of Line" and "I Stand Alone" won Grammys when they aren't different from any songs on any of their previous CDs.

Sully might be a good vocalist, yes, but his lyrics are absolutely atrocious.

Can you tell that I don't like Godsmack?

I liked there first album but then I just started Hating them. There live shows are absolutley horible. They put no energy in them anymore.

 

I liked them for a few months, just felt like something was missing. :wth:

 

Just like LP. They are more polished than my nails are. But I still like them.

 

I like Awake and Self-Titled, then I bought Faceless.

 

I couldn't have said it better myself.

The most generic rock/metal band I ever heard, and all of their songs sound the same.

I can't stand the fact that these guys won Grammy Awards......I just don't see it at all. Most of the time I can respect musical opinions and see some worth in their winning an award, but with these guys I just can't

 

The Grammys suck.

Jethro f'n Tull won over Metallica in the Best Heavy Metal award thingy.

 

No I would have never guessed.

Anyhow though the grammys are a pretty poor depiction of the music world. I don't know why they are seen as one of the highest honers in music.

 

At least better than most nu-metal bands, bringing back some solos, strong vocals, yes the lyrics do suck

I honestly can't listen to a whole Godsmack album anymore unless its their S/T. Like Will said, everything sounds the same and the lyrics are terrible.

 

the only song i really liked was I stand alone.. all the rest were pretty aveerage

 

i like some of their songs

 

There are a lot of better bands out there but Godsmack is still cool.
