Godsmack's brand new album will be in stores on August 5th. Sully Erna described 1000hp as a bit more raw and open and some of the songs are gonna be bit punky with some Nirvana influences here and there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkmZz-nrlyg
Yep, Whiskey Hangover, Cryin' Like A Bitch, and Love-Hate-Sex-Pain all done very well on the US Active Rock chart commercially and their fifth album The Oracle was number one on the Billboard 200 and received a gold certification in the US a year later. Also, their Facebook page has about almost 4 million likes. I normally listen to my music with my iPod, CD albums and online. If you're just trolling and not a fan of Godsmack, then you're on the wrong thread lol.
Godsmack is always a good band in my mind. It's bit a more leaner, faster and meaner than The Oracle, but it also feels a bit nostalgia and it sound like if they added touches from their first album and put it on steroids.
Mike Shinoda isn't the only one who thinks today's rock music is on a weak status in the mainstream world. http://www.waaf.com/blogs/mike-hsus...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
The bad news, 1000HP didn't make it to #1. Sold more than 58,000 copies, but the good news is Godsmack made it to the top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart for the fifth time in a row.
I remember really digging them a long time ago, so I'll give the record a breeze-through for old time sake. EDIT: It's Godsmack sounding like Godsmack for the Godsmackth time.
