Good Charlotte

Didn't see a topic about them, but if I'm wrong, shut it down.

So who likes/dislikes them and why? I liked them back when "The Click" came out, bought The Young and the Hopeless, and now my girlfriend got me big into them. She likes GC as much as I like LP, except she would like to do the members, whereas I would not.

 

I'm not really into them but they are cool.I really like Hold on,I think it's a great song.And the guys are really cute especialy Benjy,I love his piercings *we could have a contest to see who has more *

 

I think they are absolutely terrible. In my humble opinion, there isn't much worse out there.

 

I became a fan in the summer of 2000 when their song "Little Things" made radio play on Philly's Y100 (R.I.P.). I loved their music a lot. I even saw them live twice. Man oh man....I used to be a huge fan of theirs. Not much of a fan now. I guess it's because teenies (*cough*) are obsessed with them and I just do not care for their music that much anymore.

As for the band members, they are all ugly as hell. Back in 2000/2001, I thought they were pretty decent looking, but now they look ugly with their whole depressed/death get up.

 

I liked the first cd they brought out and even own the 2nd one, but I didnt really like the new cd a great deal it has some good songs on tho

 

I don't like 'em, but if they are being loved and hated by so many people they're obviously doing something right.

 

i'm a big fan of them their songs are so catchy

 

I like the music. I hate the band.

 

I once went to one of their shows to see the opening band, The Living End. I had a bad run-in with a teenie who was up in my face about looking the wrong way at her boyfriend. *shudder* It's not something I like to talk about. Suffice it to say that I left before GC started playing.

used to be ok, now they have just got rubbish and to overplayed for what music they sing

 

They're talented boys, as far as marketing. They're good at buying into the ever changing phases in pop culture, they're good at following trends so that they can sell lots of records.

They're not really that good at making quality music, though.

 

Horrible instrumentation, horrible lyrics. Do not touch them with a ten foot pole.

I don't exactly love GC but I don't hate them either. I can tolerate some songs.

 

They have their good songs.
