As you may know, Mike Shinoda owns an indepedent record label called "Machine Shop Recordings". Current artists using this label are Simplistic and Rosewood Fall. The first have already released a few demos, and the second have just released their "Demonstration" EP, organising even a series of CD release parties. On another quick MSR news, Simplistic have a new song free to download on purevolume.com, produces by famous producer Danny Lohner.

Finally! I've been wondering about Mike's label. Danny Lohner! From NIN! I'm listening to them now. I must get that song.

Look's mighty cool too.
LP played a very impressing show over the weekend at the Download Festival in Glasgow, Scotland.
LP played the show with 12,000 fans. "The stage was awash with blue and purple lights as Linkin Park played songs from their albums, 'Hybrid Theory' and 'Meteora'." The some songs they played included In The End, One Step Closer and Somewhere I Belong. The crowd was jumping and singing along to the songs. "After more than an hour playing the band left the stage. But due to popular demand they came back for an encore of three songs. Once they were finished (for the second time) they stayed on stage for a few minutes taking in the scene, the applause and throwing towels, drum sticks and bottles of water into the delighted crowd."
Also, Chester was sporting a new mohawk.
Taking news from LPW and posting it here is a no-no
And the fact that when I read that article, it seems ironic that the guys who wrote it are from GreatReporter.com. Not a good article at all.
LP always do an encore .. its part of the "act"
Sounds like it was written by an over excited 12yo
How was I supposed to no that I couldn't post from the [LPW]4. And thats why I put greatreporter.com on the article.
Yeah I don't get that. I read an article on that. If you do it every show it's not an encore. Encores are supposed to be when you leave the stage for like 10 mins and the crowd is just as loud and still shouting for you. They aren't supposed to happen with every crowd... What LP does is more of a breather. Everyone knows they're coming back out. Kind of ruins the tradition of the Encore.
Um, have you been to an LP concert? They do always leave for 10 minutes and come back when the crowd is still shouting for them.
Dah, all bands do encores, it's a fashion nowadays...
But i guess that's so off-topic now
Linkin Park really wants this tour to be huge...and when I mean huge I mean HUGE...
I am so happy that I am going now...
Haha, maybe LP's subtly trying to find a new producer?
Thanks, news posted.
According to MTV Asia, you can win a trip to LP's live concert in Singapore by downloading poly ringtones on June 22. Go here to see what I'm talking about http://www.mtvasia.com/Mobile/.
