^It can't get worse than Harlem Shake in Australia, right? :scared:
Yeah... That has absolutely nothing to do with news that we cover. This is bordering on that "No talking about the band member's personal lives" rule we have here. Good job looking out for news, though.
Oh yeah... Sorry. I haven't read the rules in a while. Won't happen again, promise.
At first reading your comment and seeing it was from a minute ago, my heart stopped and I was like: ''Damn they're gonna ban me now.'' Totally forgot all my infractions expired.
I can't hand out infractions anyways. At least not yet... Also, don't worry about it. Just be more careful about what you post as possible news.
Mike spoke up in an interview, stating:
What's the song in the 'A Message From Mike' video on FB?
CASTLE OF GLASS (LPTV remix)
Yeah, that never got released in full, right? It's great though.
Looks like fake, but the music and the song-titels are a bit "Linkin Parkish". Real? Fake? What do you say?
I'm calling it fake for now. The way Mike has been talking about where they are in the writing process, this is too soon.
I'm going with fake. Until the band confirms something, it isn't news. If that was on LPTV, then that would confirm it.
I'm calling fake too. It doesn't sound like LP. And there are no lyrics, either. The only reason we trusted one of the snippetleaks ages ago for Living Things was that the one for I'll Be Gone had the start of very obviously Chester singing.
My general rule of thumb for leaks is that if you leak something, release it with partial lyrics. Otherwise nobody will believe you. And don't believe leaks in other forms.
The only thing that can confirm the validity of the early "leaks" is a copyright claim by the label. If no action is taken then it's obviously fake, when they're quick to act (i.e. like the C&D to the LPA with the potato recording), call it real.
BTW now that I'm bringing the theme on, I don't think it's a smart idea to post links to supposed "leaks" on here given the previous experience the website had during the LT cycle. Admins won't be willing to jeopardize the integrity of their website because of something like this.
But the guy also uploaded videos with vocals:
Well the second one has a small vocal from Pushing Me Away. "This is the last time I'll take the blame for being with you." They took out "take the blame." The first one, I can't tell if it is Chester or not, but if it is, they took a vocal sample of Chester and layered it with effects. Nothing is conclusive with it and since I was able to figure out the second video you posted, I'm going out there and saying the first one is fake too.
ok I wrote him a massage that the videos are actually fake. hope he will take them down
"Leaks" pop up every few months. 9 times out of 10 they're always fake and usually the real leaks don't happen till a single is announced. BURN IT DOWN didn't have the potato rip till after the band announced they were done filming the video, and the previous two albums were the same way (snippets of The Catalyst were "leaked" [if you can call it that] by the multitracks, and What I've Done by a cellphone ringtone website).
I wouldn't expect a legit "leak" until the band announces they've picked a single. And that's at least two months off if not way more considering the band is finishing up their world tour for LIVING THINGS and Chester is touring with STP in September.
Chester did an interview with Yahoo Music recently about new LP, but it isn't avaliable anymore. Seems like they took it down.
Anyway, I found a post on linkinparkworldnews.blogspot.com that reports about the interview and says Chester has been working on STP 5 track EP and Linkin Park's new album at the same time. When I let Firefox translate the article, I got this:
And Chester mentioned ''potential collaborations'' in that recent interview with Guitar Center. So, LP collaborated with someone?
I just want a uk tour
