I'm sure Best Buy will have the same shit. I pre-ordered A Thousand Suns and Living Things through LP.com and I feel like I wasted my money. Way too overpriced when I can just drive to the store.

Right? They should get Chris from Coldplay as the third vocalist.

Chris Martin should totally become a third vocalist, so LP can finally have the Rihanna collaboration we've all be waiting for.

In fact, Linkin Park and Coldplay should combine to become one massive supergroup.

Is there any way Adam or Lorenzo can clear this up? Because I'd think that if a CD/DVD version was going to be available, it'd be mentioned on the official site.

Adam cleared that the DVD is NOT a "Making-Of" documentary and that it's not available in places like the US because it is a "regional exclusive" (hence he can't give much more details). My take is that if it's not a documentary, it may be a concert.

The biggest difference is that the band gets more of a cut when you buy through there website as opposed to buying it in a store where the store has to get their marginal cut too.

Linkin Park don't really get paid for making music. And touring is fucking exhausting. Make like a Kit-Kat and give me a break

And since when was making money off of something you've worked on a bad thing? Isn't the point of a career to...you know...make money?

That attitude makes it appear that they are getting paid zilch. Mike alone is worth easily 20+ million. However, like Derek said, they're working and deserve the money that they do receive for doing their job. At the same time, I won't be ordering the pre-order, simply because the last time I did (for ATS), I received the album in the mail two days after the release. Plus, it's at least five dollars more, plus shipping. And I am a poor graduate student.

Also, I'd just like to mention... Touring is probably VERY exhausting, but then again, so is work. They choose to do it.

Well, the point of a career is to do something that you love and to be able to support yourself and a family.

Money IMO is more of a side thing if you are doing what you love

This reply hardly seemed necessary. I was stating basic economics on how money flow works, not telling anyone that they had to do it. Chill the fuck out, man.

Also, lets get this thread back on track and use it for reporting news instead of bickering back and forth like a bunch of whiny two year olds. God knows we've got plenty of active threads like that to do that in right now.
