Why did I think it was true at first? Why didn't I oppose it when I first heard of it? Of course it's not true. Then again, even if it was true, it wouldn't have made a difference to me, and what I thought of her.


But the real question: Who started it?
I don't see anybody in our group to be that fucked up to spread such a lie.

*shakes head* Oh well, I managed to somewhat help her calm down tonight. Maybe I can get to the bottom of it soon. I just don't like my friends being hurt.

 

So, my best friend pretended to have a crank addiction. And he told my ex-girlfriend this, in an attempt to get her back to talking to both of us. Well, her & I got kinda close again, and I think I made the mistake (?) of telling her he lied about it.

Now, all of this shit is happening to him, and I'm afraid I might be the cause of it. Candi, the afforementioned ex, told Drew, someone my bestfriend & I really don't like, that he said he was cheating on his girlfriend, who is in California at the moment (FYI, she's probably cheating on him, but anyways...). Also, a friend of ours that moved here from Texas (Drea) is sleeping with someone I've known for awhile, and stalked Candi for a few weeks. Drea told DJ (my best-friend) that he slept with one of DJ's best-friends' baby's daddy. Yes, he's gay, if you haven't figured that out.

I'm just scared that all of this is happening because of me. Maybe I triggered all of this because I told Candi he lied. But I was right in doing so, wasn't I? I mean, he's pretty fucked up in the head, and very conniving. At the time, I really did think he crossed the line with that one. Candi's been through enough in her life, she didn't need one of her supposed best friends lying to her like that. Right?

On the other hand, maybe there is glory in subversion..

 

Cheating. What's the point? If you're with one person you should only talk to THEM "like that" and you should only be with THEM. I don't understand it. Once you're caught red handed, why lie about it? The person has overwhelming evidence that you did it. Don't lie when all the fingers are pointing toward you.
