Being at the memorial today really brought me much needed relief and helped me make peace with Chester being gone. Ryan was absolutely amazing, as were Amir, Mace, and Sean and Thora Dowdell. I'm so glad I was able to meet all of them and I'm on cloud 9 just knowing how much they cared about every one of us like Chester did. If you wanted the performances from my point of view, here they are.
I've watched the tribute on FB and I'm so thankful for the memories of Chester. It made me cry and laugh. So great stories. When Ryan started crying it broke my heart. Thora Dowdell says: "Quite gentle soul". Matches perfect for Chester.
This is how I imagined a tribute should look like: a lot of stories from fans saying how much LP changed their lives, his friends talking about Chester and sharing personal stories and songs. Ryan's speech was very emotional, I started crying while listening to it especially when he talked about Chester's "dark passanger". The performance of Morning after left me in tears watching the video of Chester on the bug svreen and hearing the song I expected to see him performing it
