BIO has to one of the darkest songs LP has written, just look at the lyrics, "dug a trench out, laid down there...yeah someone pour it in" , although it may not seem dark instrumentally speaking. I think you really only focused on the instrumentation of the songs with your happy list, because none of those songs are 'happy', but I guess Burn It Down and Lost In The Echo have some positive overtones to them so they can slide.

I dont even Care for the Lyrics of BIO tbh. Its like something they wrote to have a good time. Maybe this wasnt theire intention , but you cant say, that this song dont give a good feeling. Same like Burn It Down. Well , maybe i didnt understand this thread, but its like all the other threads, just opinions.
Sure, Iridescent have a happy message, but it seems for me "atmohspheric dark". And why did you just tell me this , i wasnt the first one here with BID, BIO and LITE on the "happy" list  <-- i dont want to attack you with my comment :)

I saw your post first so I replied, not aiming at you bro.

I was speaking on an objective level, your opinions are completely valid. To me BIO does actually feel like a 'happy' song because of it's instrumentation and the vibe it gives, but on an objective level its really one of those songs that portrays how difficult life can be. Iridescent doesn't feel dark to me, the chorus and the instrumentation gives me that hopeful vibe, but I understand your opinion, it's all subjective :p
