Haters & Believers: A Thousand Suns Release

That post a very good read. But I really don't understand the hatred towards A Thousand Suns. Honestly, I hear the following influences when I listen to A Thousand Suns:

(04) Foreword
(05) Step Up + Carousel
(06) MY<DSMBR
(07) New Divide
(08) P5HNG ME A*WY
(09) Faint + BY_MYSLF
(10) Figure.09
(11) NTR\MSSION
(12) Shadow of the Day
(13)
(14) WTH>YOU
(15) The Little Things Give You Away

If you guys can think of a better list, by all means go right ahead.

At this point I feel that Linkin Park can release Hybrid Theory III and people would still complain for them to "go back to their old sound", whatever that means anymore...

Burning In The Skies sounds nothing like In The End. You'd have a better chance with Blackbirds.

 

I love ATS, but wtf dude?

 

And the pre-chorus for Wretches and Kings reminds me of the New Divide breakdown but you don't have to go nuts and compare the album to every song. Foreword isn't Empty Spaces. Foreword opens a track. Empty Spaces ends one.
