I know it sounds weird but I really love coyotes. I heard them one night, I could hear a few of them howling, it was amazing. Have any of you had this experience before?

When my folks lived in Pescadero, CA they were basically in the middle of a forest. I remember one evening I had the windows open and was listening to music. I turned it off to get ready for bed and that's when I heard them. There seemed to be two of them. It was pretty harrowing at the time as it will suddenly remind you that you're in the middle of nowhere lol. It's a beautiful wild sound though, one that became almost reassuring to me during my time there.
Yep. When I lived in Washington state, the woods behind my house had quite a few coyotes, and not once did I hear them howl. I feel left out.

Alright, I've been living with cats around the house for the majority of my life, and I've never ever heard that noise. I'd get totally creeped out if I were to hear it.
