This is why i never joined, Lp is about the music. To be honest i don't care if i ever meet them. See them for half a second anyway, I'd rather go for a beer and party like a rock-star with Hahn, and i don't see that happening anytime soon with anyone.

So far It just seems that we are using the LP.com website and I am not to pleased about that at all. In my opinion the LPU should be a totally different website away from LP.com that's just my opinion if this is what is then I don't think I will continue to purchase this anymore...Just sticking to buying the LPU cds per year...

You know, I have a feeling that there will be something special coming up. Like an extra bonus. Any 1st year LPUers remember the random Reanimation Dolby surround sound we got in the mail just because?

We don't even know what the site looks like yet is yet. The profile page is just an area where the public can see what's happening in the LPU. There's still a separate site (which isn't running yet). Sure, the domain is lpu.LINKINPARK.com but it's still a site where only members can access with a chat room, forums, etc. It just means that the format of the site has changed from the old lpu.com which really isn't that big of a deal.

i think the redeem codes were just for older LPUers to transfer their accounts to the new site.

I haven't ordered it but you usually have to allow 6-8 weeks for it to arrive.

You don't sign anywhere.... yet. As I understood. But it wasn't too clear in Mike's post if the LPU is going to have a log in website or not but people here say it will.
Clearly, I only bought the LPU for the M&Gs.

    Are my posts invisible?

Though, it is really dumb as to why the LPU can't be more clear about these kind of questions. It's embarrassing that people have to come here to ask these questions when in reality all the info should be clearly stated at their website.

You are not invisible Dumbledore, just dead. Anyway you can't still really tell if lpu.linkinpark will be login website or not.

Yep. But I have hope Mike will read this thread and do some kind of edit in his post with answers

No, I'm pretty sure it is, From Mike's post:
At the moment, it's just a page showcasing the features that are yet to come.

And Dumbledore never dies. Everyone knows that.

Ok sorry for the double post but I found that on the blog of the company that designed the lpu website http://www.theuprisingcreative.com/blog/

And this is the topspin website and detail of their plateform http://www.topspinmedia.com/for-artists/about-the-platform/

I know it's all about marketing and LP is a brand, but a fan community created over a retail plateform can be a very bad move. I do believe they did offer more with LPUX that they did in previous years, with all those live events and Summits. Let's hope retail will come second, while connection with the fans will come first. So people will stop bitching, and start buying. Everyone will be happy.

You're fast D. And seems you were right....

When you log into LP.com...you are logged into LPU also. They are the same thing now.
