    Seeing these photos, I'm glad we don't have hurricanes here... Anyway, hope everything is back to normal soon...

    That is probably the dumbest thing to get upset about. Almost all of comments I've seen haven't been slamming her, though.

    But I assume those people who are mad about this don't care (or even realize) that every news outlet uses devastating pictures to draw attention and gain viewers. Oh the hypocrisy in the world.

    Photography =/= point-and-shoot

    Given the artistic quality behind the photos I'm surprised they weren't just put on Instagram. Interesting subject matter, but that's terrible execution.

    You guys are lucky to be alive and to recover quickly after a massice storm. I live in the Philippines and storms like these arrive every (other) month. Last July (I think it was July), we suffered five storms in a row (around one storm per week). And that happened after a massive monsoon as strong as Sandy devastated the country. Relief efforts were slower than the US.
