After what seems like an eternity of coding and behind the scenes construction, the official site of Hydroponikz has launched and opened it's doors to the public. Designed by LPA's very own Keaton Hashimoto, and created through a labor of love by Keaton, me and Hydro himself, this site is the best source for all your Hydroponikz news and information. Many of Hydro's fans around the net, LPA and Myspace have been wondering where they could download some of Ryan's more popular tracks as well as keep up to date on all of the new music he releases. Well look no further! Featuring downloads of his popular tracks as well as a player that showcases his newest music, this website is the perfect spot to get introduced to the world of Hydroponikz. Through visiting his official site you will not only get a chance to hear his music, but also a chance to read his official biography, post on his forums, and read his blog, getting a chance to chat with the man himself. In my mind, hip-hop has been hungry for an artist who doesn't put fame and fortune before the music. By taking one listen to Ryan's lyrics you will see that he is the real deal, as he raps about real experiences and even offers a rare insight into his personal life on the autobiographical track "My America" found on the new hydroponikz.com player. Whether you're a longtime fan or a new recruit, you will definitely agree that the time has come for an artist like Hydroponikz, and on behalf of Ryan himself and the entire Hydroponikz.com staff, we hope we enjoy what you hear. Why do I get the feeling that in about 5 years time this guy's gonna be collaberating with 50 Cent and other rappers. I have to say, even though Rap isn't my main taste in music, that Hydroponikz could defenatly have a future in the hip-hop industry. What's weird is that today I started trying to make a proper song out of Chester's bit in Rock N' Roll and I just went to this site and the guy's beaten me to it
ANY promotion you guys can give to Hydro is really respected..so whether its calling him the next 50 or just showing him to a friend..certainly feel free to link to his site like Rohan is doing. *EDIT* Isn't My America amazing? That's one of the tracks from his upcoming CD.
Casey, What You Know was making fun of T.I. that's why Hydro sounds the way he does in the chorus. The verses are about how this southern rap is taking over the airwaves (hence the accent he raps in) and how New York is going to make a comeback in the rap scene. What I like about Hydro is that with the exception of his remixes, all the beats he raps on are original. Like My America is by his buddy Incise, and You Know You Lovin' It is by Jay (aka Tha Skillionaire).
Why make fun of T.I. though. I don't get it. T.I. is one of the most talented rappers out there today. And I wasn't just talking about the chorus, I hate the whole song.
You think T.I. is talented? Well to each their own I guess . And well, did you like the other songs or no?
T.I. has stepped up his game in the past few years. If you give his newest album "King" a listen, it's a damn good hip-hop album. No, I don't really like any of the others. I used to like the Hardly Breathe song, but these days it just doesn't do anything for me. I guess I've been spoiled by Cyssero, Canibus, Papoose, etc.
T.I. is indeed talented. He's got a lot of really good songs. Hydro is amazing. I've always thought that. I'll definitely see him on MTV (yeah, right -- like I watch MTV) in a few years.
Well you're right, he aint that bad. I just hate What You Know lol. Probably why I liked Ryan's remix of it. And yeah, anyone's better compared to 50..and I know you like him too Casey so I'm sorry. And thanks for the props Will. I can bet you Ryan's definitely watching your props and comments.
