    I Beg To Disagree by Thomas Sowell

    Discuss.

    Also, has anyone read anything else by Sowell? My Dad gave me Conflict of Visions, a book about how people's political idelogies stem back to weather or not they believe in constrained or uncontrained potential goodness of mankind (more complicated then that, but that's another thread alltogether) only I never finished it...

    Amen to the fucking rhetoric in schools.

    I agree completely: you have to learn ideas, but also ask why? how? A crazy idea can turn into a billion dollar success because of these simple questions.

    About Hitler: yes he was a sick bastard, a complete asshole who killed millions because of racism and other fucked up beliefs, but he had a cause.
