My computer is so messed up. I can't see any pictures at all. not even the smilies. It does this a lot and I have no idea how to fix it. It really makes it impossible to do anything when you can't see it. I was making this thread by feel becuase I knew my way around so well.

Does anyone know what is wrong? Or why my computer is doing this? I mean, it must be really messed up becuase I can't even reinstal IE (even thought i really hate it), so I can't get MSN on here.

So, please, if any of you have any idea in what I can do to fix this I would really appricate it.

Try using another browser and see if the problem occurs again, try "Firefox" and "Opera".

Try clearing your cache or switch to Firefox (highly recommended).

You might have images turned off.

Tools>>Internet Options>>Advanced>> then under MULTIMEDIA make sure 'show pictures' is checked.

I dont' think that is it, becuase it only happens sometimes. Any my computer seems to really fuck up on other things too when that happens. .....and I can't find the Tools option to begin with to check. >_<

Clear the cache (Tools-->Internet Options-->Delete Files button-->put a check in "Also delete all offline content"-->click OK and let it complete-->click OK to close Options, close the browser and reopen it) - that's step 1. If you're on WinXP, IE has a repair function in Add/Remove Programs...you could try that. Or...just get FF. You could also try disabling firewalls/AV programs, and lowering the security settings on your browser.

IE sucks, plain and simple ;)

I to, recommend firefox. Even if it doesn;t fix your problem, it is a far superior browser.

    I'm having a similar problem. I can't view images hosted on Photobucket.com

    I'm using Firefox.
