    It's not bad...

This hurt me physically and emotionally. Goodness gracious, this is terrible.

And of course, YouTube's praising it and wishing LP will go back to this sound. Because YouTube.

This sort of thing highlights why nu metal died. So many mediocre bands with little or no musical talent rode on that wave and created some of the most tedious crap I've ever heard.

    Haha nice one Chester.

Ordinarily, I guess what he said could be construed as being an ass. However, given that the individuals putting out the cover had already explicitly said on their video that Heavy sucks, they got EXACTLY the response they deserved. Screw them and their shit music, the self entitled assholes.

I would rank this somewhere between killing orphans as the parents who abandoned them laugh in their face and Meteora.

Send it to Guantanamo Bay, we've found the new waterboarding.

Lol, this is so bad. How can any metal-fan in their righteous mind think that this is actually good? The screams are ok at best and the rapping is cringeworthy. Plus it's only heavy and brutal for the sake of being heavy. It's kinda lifeless. Passion, soul and sincerity are equally important. The heart and soul found in the original is clearly missing. If Nu-Metal 2017 sounds like this, it better stay dead.

If LP were still nu-metal, world peace would be renewed. Warring countries would lay down arms and listen to LP. Metal fans of all types would rejoice and Brad The Guitar God would come down and say, "Let thy theory destroy the bad music." All pop, alternative and hip hop artists will incinerate while metal rules the world. The people will build a giant Hybrid Theory soldier statue in Washington and sing "In The End" together, holding hands.

Sorry but that is a sound ive never heard from Linkin Park ever. I don't know why people ever thought LP sounded like that?
LP is always kind of ''soft'' in the Nu metal scene. And no matter what genre they play, They always find a way to make everything sound quite ''Melodic?'', (If that makes sense)

I hate what I'm hearing in that metal cover.

Just to be clear when I originally posted this video it was never my way of saying this song it is so much better than the original I happen to like the original but I also like variety and I posted the song for people who like the other side of Linkin Park. I get not all songs are meant to have screaming in them but really what songs are meant has screaming in them? Isn't screaming just another form of showing an motion so perhaps when the guys did this it brought out different emotion then others have. I have been a LP fan since the HT days, I have also been a member of this page for quite a long time as well, I just don't remember my username and password so I had to make another one today LOL

    .

Even though I really like LP's version, I love this version. Hope the link works.

Meh. It's alright. Honestly, I don't think 'Heavy' sounds any better with guitars and screaming. I feel the song is right just the way it is right now, even if it's just at best an above average song. It's meant to be poppy.

It's pretty good actually, but the screaming in the second verse seems forced, another example of a song having screaming for the sake of having screaming rather then because it fits. Other then that it really highlights the fact that to all intents and purposes Heavy is basically a slightly stripped back version of a typical LP song.

If it had been released in this format, the majority of the haterz would have absolutely lovd it.
