Or you know, the new album could be called... Breaking The Habit that is Numb, Crawling in the Papercut Somewhere I Belong, which is One Step Closer to the Points Of Authority, but Nobody's Listening With You, I Faint By Myself and Hit The Floor, which is Easier To Run for A Place For My Head Pushing Me Away etc.
How about: 'No Matter What We Do Nothing Is Good Enough For Some Of You Fans' Subtitled: 'If you're going to compare this to anything else we've done then don't bother listening at all and stop calling yourself a fan!'
Making Their third album self-titled would probably be the best idea for them. It will definitely catch one's eye.....maybe even sell more copies than it normally would. Well, it worked for blink 182 and weezer at any rate.
It's not really about their creativity....it's just a tactic some bands may use in order to sorta give their new album a comeback aspect to it.....it benefits some artists more than others, but if new albums come after the artist has had a long vacation......you get what I mean.
Styx's icon influenced me. They should have a picture of Arnold Schwartzenegger from Kindergarten Cop as the album art, and call the album: "IT'S NOT A TUMOR!"
