dude hybrid theory was a self titled album for the band 'hybrid theory' its was linkin parks name before they had to change it. so no it doesnt hurt getting ripped of a 14 year old kid, because that 14 year old kid was wrong. meteora does have a connection with linkin parks music. brad said before that they picked meteora as an album title because it sounds massive which fits in with the feel of the album, with the large sounds created by the guitars and other instruments. litte tip - do your research before you go posting in the future. a lot of people on this site know a lot more than you and me. Ok, i agree with the ybrid theory part, but they could self title it "Linkin Park" instead of "Hybrid Theory" second, JJ87 (wtf), that bit about meteora is a whole load of bullshit. if anyone has the meteora enhanced cd, there is an interview with moke and he says "meteora is a rock formation...that has no relation to the band. But we chose this as our alnum name because it sounded cool" (sorry if i don't get the exact quote right) I did do my research, i knew the shit, but you just needed to do your research better. i think you'll find that mike mentioned basically what i said with brad on an interview, infact i think it follows on from what you quoted yourself. i can clearly remember it - lets just agree to disagree. i wouldnt say it unless i was 100% i wrote brad instead of mike for some reason its cool about the OOOOO bit - and like i said there are plenty of people with a wider knowledge of linkin park related facts on this site, i have a limited amount compared to others.
I was just kidding by the way. You know what would be really cool? If someone from Linkin Park read these forums and actually decided to use people's suggestions as song or album names. I'd be pretty shocked.
