I really like that they didn't write Night Visions Pt. 2. This album is pretty diversified and that was a good small sample of what to expect without giving too much of the songs. Stand outs for me were "I'm So Sorry", "Summer", and "The Fall". EDIT: "I'm So Sorry" really reminds me of Jamie N Commons but I enjoy his music too, so it's not a problem for me.
That's cool standouts for me are Polaroid ...it comes back to you...Dream (was really good)....and Summer
"It Comes Back To You", "Dream", and "The Fall" While "Demons" is still my favorite ID song, I have no more doubt after these snippets that I'm going to like this album more than "Night Visions" as a whole. It feels so much more solid, everything feels right here, if that makes any sense. Usually it's hard for a music artist to surpass the gold they struck the first time around with their first album, but I think Imagine Dragons did it. There's so much variety here too, it's like a mixed bag. Chances are if you don't like one of the songs here you'll still end up finding at least one to like. And there's still FOUR more bonus tracks in the deluxe edition? Bye bye "Night Visions", hello "Smoke + Mirrors'".
They are coming to Washington, but I have already seen them twice and do not like at all how this new album is shaping up, so Idk if it would be worth going.
http://videos.hollywoodreporter.com...Lwy5tYExmzPQouepBVHpLnTja&bctid=4039544697001 Performance of "Shots" aired during the Grammy awards, but wasn't officially a part of the Grammy awards. Target purchased a 4 minute commercial slot for the bands performance, estimated to have cost over 8 million dollars. The performance was done on a busy intersection in Vegas which was closed for a week to prepare the stage and for the band to rehearse. That's crazy.
Target closes down all their Canadian stores, spends $8mil to have Imagine Dragons perform in a commercial slot.
https://twitter.com/Target/status/564840422238085120 I'm sure most of you have already seen this, but once they get enough Tweets they'll release a new track. I wonder since it's Target if it'll be one of the bonus tracks.
Here's live performances of "Shots" and "Gold". One thing's for sure: Platzman needs improvement in his drumming.
Lyrics from the chorus of Dream, might be wrong since I wrote them by hear. I put them in invisible for the ones who don't want spoilers. We are living in a dream, where life ain't what it seems, where everything's messed. And all the sorrows aren't seen, they leave me to belive, that everything's messed. But I wanna dream. I wanna dream. Leave me to dream.
Try not to resist Filip
^I think you mean Filip (I am offended you mistook me for him, btw). I've been resisting that for a week now, since they were first played live. I don't want to hear live versions before the studio ones. I fear the Yeezus syndrome.
