why does everyone have to compare the songs to Hybrid Theory? we should spend more time listening to the brand new songs by Linkin Park than trying to figure out how similar to Hybrid Theory. they're 2 totally diff cd's from what i've heard (i haven't listened to Meteora yet, mind you).
I havent heard everythign on Meteora, not even half the songs, but can we all agree that Faint is incredible?

What in the hell? Sorry, but you are way off. SIB is most like ITE, Don't Stay is most like OSC, and Faint isn't like anything on HT, and Lying From You isn't much like Crawling, since you know, Mike does theo chorus' for this and not Chester, it's more rap based then rock, Crawlign was rock based.
i think the only song on the entire album that sounds any thing like HT would be "Somewhere i belong" other than that, Meteora is its own new sound
Well, can u all stop comparing Meteora to HT and saying which songs are the best? It all depends on our personal taste of music, and evry single song means something special. It's not like "Oh, no, this sux, hear that one"... I can't stand reading the same things everywhere... :chemist:
Bah.... there are some similar moments if not whole songs.... The bridges from Figure.09 & By Myself come to mind.... Numb reminds me of Pushing Me Away....but its not really similar.... SIB does sound similar in pattern to ITE....
