I think they will play A Thousand Suns front to back for the first time. I like cereal, does anybody else like cereal? (fuck it we're starting the random chat now :awesome:)

Oh yeah, and Linkin Park sold out on A Thousand Suns :kappa:

Eh, I don't think them playing Robot Boy constitutes as a surprise since 99% of the fanbase doesn't even follow their setlists to begin with . Either they do some crazy shit with the setlist (i.e. playing ATS front to back) or they play a new song. I'm not sure what else they could do.

Or Mike is just trolling us which is most likely the case, haha.

Oh I agree, I'm just saying if they play A Thousand Suns in full then we get Robot Boy.

I'd also go with a Mike Roll on this one as well.

You know, even if Mike is trolling, I'm just gonna watch the show, giggle a little, and say "Oh, Shinoda-san. You so funny." Because no matter what, I can't hate that guy.

I don't think Mike would bother mentioning a "surprise" if it was Robot Boy. They debut songs from their current album live all the time without making a big deal out of it.

An old song? Maybe. Normally I don't think Mike would bother calling an old song a "surprise" either, but talk of playing old songs live has been coming up a lot more recently with Mike. He's mentioned With You a couple times, so maybe.

A Thousand Suns in full? Could be. More of a "surprise" worth hyping up then the last two. Still have the problem of Robot Boy though.

A totally new song making its debut? They're playing at an iTunes festival that will be live streamed and available on demand afterwards. Sounds like a good opportunity to play something new. I hope its this one, but who knows?

A portion of the setlist will be acoustic like they did at KROQ in 2001? They've been doing it at the summits, they said its an intimate venue.

Or maybe they have an announcement to make. Basically, me typing up this post has hyped me up significantly and I will be skipping out on any 4th of July tomfoolery that could interfere with my watching of this stream.

Or it could just simply be a guest collab/mashup with another artist the festival in the vein of "Yesternumb" (Numb vs Yesterday). I wouldn't expect a new song, RB premiere or ATS front to back until it happens guys. Think conservatively.

Oh right, Adele is playing at this too right? Maybe they could sing together. Then again a lot of artists have covered Rolling In The Deep so Adele might be a busy girl that night. :awesome:

They might play the Rolling In The Deep cover again, they're playing in Adele's hometown so you never know! The live recording of this show will be available on iTunes as a live EP and I hope they play the cover as it would be awesome to get a clear version of it.

She's playing at the festival on the 7th but it would be AMAZING to have a LP/Adele collab. :)

Maybe the whole set will be comprised of LP/Adele mashups. "Rolling in the Skies" and such.
