After performing for the first time in China since 2009 last night in Nanjing, Linkin Park moves on to Shenzhen - the second of five shows of The Hunting Party China Tour. The performance will be taking place at the CR Shenzhen Bay Sports Center Stadium, and will be the first time the band has performed in this city.

Perhaps to the dismay of some fans, the band did not play the highly desired "Keys to the Kingdom," though no one knows for certain if it at all will emerge on the setlists in China or on later tour dates. It also appears that the Chinese S.W.A.T. team at the arena forced concertgoers to sit - but it's uncertain if this was for the entirety of the show or perhaps after a particular incident.

Hopefully no such trouble occurs tonight in Shenzhen, and hopefully, we will see some new material from The Hunting Party emerge at some stage on this tour. Will fans see something new on July 19th? Time will tell. At the very least, one of two LPU Fan Meet-ups is occurring tonight in Shenzhen. The other will take place in Chongqing.

After tonight, the band heads over to Shanghai on July 22nd, and Chongqing on July 24th.

Are you planning on attending the show and/or the LPU Fan Meet-up? Let us know in our forums!

    Remaining Tour Dates:
22/7 - Shanghai @ Shanghai Hongkou Foorball Stadium
24/7 - Chongqing @ Chongqing Olympic Sports Center Stadium
    26/7 - Beijing @ Beijing Worker’s Stadium

Why not put snipers at vantage points and put each band members at their crosshairs?

What a bullshit, is China becoming North Korea?

China is a country that mostly manipulates media and education, bans social media (Facebook among others is banned) and arrests anyone who practices religion that contradicts the Chinese government beliefs.

Let's not forget that even though they've softened up a bit, China's still a Communist country. Kinda makes me sorry for the people who have to live with this government. Kinda made me worried when LP announced their shows there.

Despite all the things that country has done, if they ban Meteora I'm moving to Shanghai immediately.

I'd take Meteora over that pollution filled city. Hell, I'm surprised they're even playing at Shanghai.

At 1:56 Chester starts speaking about the new album, and at 2:10 Mike plays a sample of what he has been working on lately. Could be an indication of the artistic territory the band is exploring for the next record, or it might just be some casual beat making :)

Still way too early for them to be speaking of the new album. For all we know, the band could be exactly opposite of that when it comes out next year.
I get the vibe that they are very satisfied with THP's era and how everything about it and the tours were handled.

Does not surprise me that Mike makes new music 24/7.

That makes 6 people. Anyone else satisfied with this era? Because it's been largely underwhelming to me personally.

Satisfied? Not even close. Underwhelming is the exact word I'd use for this era.

I like the A Thousand Suns era more than The Hunting Party. ATS was a pure genius live especially WFTE & The Catalyst.

Honestly, i like WFTE today much more than 2010/2011, but yeah, The Catalyst is such a cool song. They should add it again to the setlist somehow.
