I complained about it during the stream. (The In the End part anyway). Anyway, came to post this: Looks like Faint was not planned to be played last but was switch last minute. Source: @lplive
I think Southside was a great place for this tour imo. It's not strictly a festival for rock, and it shows with the warm reception to the music. Acts like Green Day and Royal Blood to Imagine Dragons and Alt-J to Lorde and Halsey performed. Fests like this are better suited for OML.
Complains about lack of interaction with the fans. Bitches about fan interaction during their most beloved song. jk Also, the band still jokes around. But they have a limited time frame given how they perform 24 songs unlike during the initial years where they had fewer songs and therefore more time to kill.
Sorry if I came across like that in my initial comment. I really wasn't trying to be like that. But yeah that's understandable, that they have less time to talk, it's like a non-stop show at this point. As long as a majority of the fanbase likes the shows that is what matters. And I guess In The End having that pause makes sense in that way because the fans love to sing to it, etc.
Also probably because it's a given than no matter where they play the song, the crowd would know the lyrics. So it's a great way to interact with crowds who aren't particularly there for them as well.
