Let's pick the modern day Bob Dylan. Someone who has relatable, pertinent lyrics covering every topic you can imagine.


My vote goes for Eddie Vedder.

 

I'd agree with Eddie Vedder. Perhaps Dustin Kensrue's solo work.

 

I'm not familiar with a lot of Ryan Adam's work (he's pretty prolific), but he's probably the closest thing I can think of to a modern Bob Dylan.

It pains me to say it but to a certain extent Jack White also.

 

Really? I guess I've never listened to that much of his work to be honest... Interesting.
