Maybe it's just the sound quality, but it wasn't too great to me. Some of the "bonus tracks" on Best Buy were a ton better than anything on the album.
From what I've heard, this is disappointing. I hate to say it, but I think Korn are officially washed up. My opinion, of course.
Well I did too, but it was an obvious nosedive in their career, and the start of their horrible albums to many.
Actually, I didn't think it was too bad. In fact, it's probably a little better than the last album they did. I do miss oldschool Korn, though... This definately isn't worth a buy, but it'll be in my playlist. *download2win*
It's......different. Not good, not bad. But different. I think Follow the Leader was my favorite Korn album, I don't see them changing that anytime soon.
They wanted it to be different. Can any of you say that one album sounded exactly like another album from Korn? The two closest albums were Life is Peachy and the ST but other than that, I can't see anything else sounding the same. They pretty much change on every album because they like to experiment...which this CD shows a lot of. I really like what they've done.
It's okay from what I've heared. Nothing has really hit me as amazing yet though. I'll have to give it a few more listens to get into it.
After listening to a... ahem... "higher-quality version", I have to say the quality wasn't a problem. The record's crap. Oh, and "Throw Me Away" is quite possibly the worst song I've ever heard. Such a letdown... how did the bonus songs on Best Buy not make it?! "Appears" was better than everything on this album.
Haha and in my opinion Appears was one of the worst songs. Just goes to show much peoples' musical tastes can vary.
