Its that time of year again. KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas, webcast live on the net, is back again with a new line-up.

    December 11th
    Franz Ferdinand
    Interpol
    Jimmy Eat World
    Keane
    The Killers
    Modest Mouse
    Muse
    The Music
    The Shins
    Snow Patrol
    Taking Back Sunday

    December 12th
    Chevelle
    Good Charlotte
    Green Day
    Hoobastank
    Incubus
    My Chemical Romance
    Papa Roach
    Social Distortion
    Sum 41
    The Used
    Velvet Revolver

Personally, I think Day 1 is pretty desperate. Day 2 is awesome, void Good Charlotte.

    I deleted the bands I don't like/haven't heard.

There's no doubt that Day Two is far superior, but I'm interested in Day One, for Keane & Interpol.

    I  me some Interpol.

I might skip day one when I go. There are only a few bands I want to see. Day two will rock though. I love KROQ's Holiday Radio Shows.

I'm from the bay area too but I'm not going to NSSN. I'm going to Twisted X-mas in Sacramento:
The Used, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Papa Roach, The Donnas.

I'm still trying to get into the 2nd night of AAC but it's gonna be tough since it's "sold out" for both nights.

Where's Linkin Park? They usually play on the KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmases. Then again they ARE in the studio/taking a break.

Taking Back Sunday is the only band that I'll be watching on the 11th. Their being listed last means they're headlining, right? I hope so. They don't deserve the opening-opening slot.

The 12th looks okay. Chevelle, Hoobastank, Papa Roach, Sum 41, the Used and Velvet Revolver are the only bands I'm going to watch. And I'll at least watch Green Day for "American Idiot". I might also watch Incubus but I'm not really into them.

I don't understand how they choose slots, though.

Wait... Mark's got them in alphabetical order.

    Damn it...

    [edit]
Never mind, they're in alphabetical order on KROQ.com, too. That's the dumbest thing ever.

    Will, you're going?

As for listing them in alphabetical order, I too find that pointless. I see Green Day and Velvet Revolver headlining the 2nd night though.

*smacks head* Duh, how could I forget? I'll be lucky if I can still get tickets even though it's "soldout," not to mention it's about 6 hours from here.
