So for some reason I forgot to even voice my opinion on the sound of the track we're hearing on this new video. I really like it. I'm happy to hear the more electronic side of Linkin Park. I hope we get more A Thousand Suns or LIVING THINGS-esque sounds on this album.
Not all their interludes are made. How about Foreword? It rolls right into Don't Stay. That's cool. Best I could do.
Well that's an intro highly sorry but com now all interludes are bad what would u classify as an interludes
"Genre = dead" + "risky can mean the most weirdest thing, weirdest chord progressions or whatever, or it could be the most poppiest thing" = Most diverse LP album yet? Seems like nobody should be fooled if the single is a pop song when the song after it could sound like it belongs on a completely different album. Trying to keep my expectations in check, but the hype is getting to me. The song's not even out and I have it stuck in my head Now to survive until the album comes out, with my luck a piano will fall on me or I'll get struck by lightning
I suck at typing on my phone here it is again Not all interludes are bad I'm just excited for this a new l.p. record well its about time I am always wanting more at the end
I mean, I get that Foreword builds up tension but was it necessary to make a 13 second intro a track? I like interludes mostly as extensions of songs on the same track. It does work though. "The Requiem" and "The Radiance" are great examples. "Foreword" and "Empty Spaces?" Not so much imo.
Empty spaces told a story are is the concept album album nuclear holocaust its war you hear on empty spaces forward maybe not necessary but I would take forward over tinfoil
Empty spaces told a story. ATS is the concept album album about nuclear holocaust, its war you hear on empty spaces. Forward maybe not necessary but I would take forward over tinfoil? Hehe
I'm not saying remove Empty Spaces, I'm just saying it doesn't need to be a separate track imo. Also Tinfoil is an instrumental like Cure For The Itch, Wake, Session and Drawbar. Not an interlude.
I was hoping somehow they would release videos this weekend so we would get the song on the original rumored date of the 14th But now I think the 17th makes sense Clips Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Song on Friday.
Why no clips on Monday? Monday Tuesday Wednesday we get clips, Thursday we get album name and tracklist along with the first single Music video(or lyric video), and Friday we get the album preorder along with a release date. Anything could happen at this point so...
Lol this weekend is like the first weekend I want to hurry up so the weekday could start and we get some new clips or new info on the record.
Interludes are fine if it helps the album flow better. I personally prefer interludes as separate tracks instead of just being attached to the song though... (As much as I like the new Starset record, I'm not a huge fan of those extended outros that're essentially interludes).
