The verse sounds sick. some Purity Ring shit right there.
Love the way Chester is singing here. Been hearing some theories thrown around that this album will be untitled which I really hope isn't the case. Hopefully we find out the name of the album soon. I wouldn't mind at all if it was something like "One More" or "One More Day".
Dude, that verse with the trap beat sounded sooo sexy. The "HOLDDDING OOONN!!" part could be better executed, but the verses sound really good.
Kinda wish it was released now. I'm so baked at the moment, would be perfect to hear those synths in full flow.
The verse flow if fucking weird. RnB as fuck.
Don't know if i like it.
Oh man this got me super excited now, can't wait, Chester just sounds amazing!
The part "It's not like I made de choice" remembered me of Adele. Don't know why...
I'm still keeping my expectations low.
But I like the instrumental.
Chester's voice during the chorus sounds a bit too harsh compared to the instrumental, but that's obviously not a final mix. Probably not even the final vocal take.
I do like the syncopation in the verses though.
Yeah! I appreciated that - actually kind of caught me by surprise.
Not to mention I think it's been filtered through the camera mic and not the studio mic, the vocals are missing a lot of frequencies (very high-frequency, not enough low or mid, which would have been picked up in that studio mic) and I think they tried to stop some peaking.
I find his delivery a bit cheesy. And like you said, a bit too harsh. A little bit lower and it would be better.
But hey, lets see how the final version will be.
It would be cool if they put a Robot Boy/Jornada del Muerto/Welcome kind of keyboard solo in between the second chorus and the repetition of the pre-chorus
I don't know about this one. Feels like he is singing faster than how I would like the melody to be sung.
I also dislike how they played the instrumental under him when it clearly didn't fit.
Just two more days.
While I don't think this will ultimately be the case, and I think announcing such a thing via a URL reveal would be anticlimactic and lame, I've been trying to prepare myself for the possibility that this is their "one more" (a.k.a. last) album.
Again, I doubt it. I don't think we'd find out like this. But I agree that it seems out of place at the moment. No additional letter would make it make sense. They've been counting since last week toward "_ of 8" videos, and with the release of the 7th, obviously there'd be "one more" - seems redundant. And I don't think "One More" anything would be the album title, because why not spell out the whole thing?
It could just be a relatively useless little nod to the last of 8 videos. It could mean this is their last album. It could mean something completely different. It can't mean nothing.
Seriously doubt this will be Linkin Park's last album. At least, until I hear otherwise from them.
I'm curious how many people would note the different singing if they didn't say that themselves. I'm gonna skip this video and just wait for the song at this point. Can't wait!
Holy cow, that sounds fantastic!!! Honestly did NOT expect that after the snippets. Soo hyped for thursday
In case the album is called "One More Day", AAAAND we have a cover that is similar to Minutes To Midnight, AAAAND we know that MTM refers to doomsday clock, meaning that there's only few minutes to midnight (or end of the world sort of)... BUT, what if "One More Day" means that there's hope and humanity has "another day".... stupid theory, I know.
So excited to listen to the single and the album after hearing this. Never heard Chester singing like this before
You either Illuminati or you don't, bruh.
Separate names with a comma.
