so whats the deal? Linkin Park has played pretty much non stop since Minutes to Midnight came out for about a year and a 1/2. I saw them at both Projekt Revolutions and their winter stadium tour, they have gotten better each time! Anyways after all this touring, when are thay gonna document it by filming their show for a DVD, is anyone else sick of Live in Texas, that was 5 years ago, theyve evolved so much, why arn't they coming out with a new DVD? thoughts?

People think the show at Milton Keynes was filmed, possibly for a DVD.

Personally, I would say the new set is not as energetic as the '03/'04 set. Still, a DVD would be ace.

Yeah but it's good in a way. Live In Texas was a terrible example of Chester's singing abilities. A DVD with Leave Out All The Rest/SOTD/TLTGYA would be really good to have, just to have awesome audio of him showing his abilities singing a softer song.

A dvd of Milton Keynes, maybe even with some footage of the supporting acts, would be pretty nice.

personally i think the MK gig will be released as a DVD.. i mean the stage was a blank canvas (no advertising).. plus Jay-Z was there to help out in their set.. their set that didnt really include that many album tracks and concentrated on their 'hits' (http://lplive.net/shows/20080629.php)...

and the amount of cameras that where there was incredible.. too many if you ask me unless they where shooting for a DVD IMO

I'd be so stoked if the show I went to was released on DVD...then again it was one hell of a show (excluding The Bravery, they sucked ).

I saw them Last year on PR07 and I think their show nowadays is WAY more energetic than Live in texas was, Also Chester was PUMPED to be in Indiana. (Isn't his new wife from there? He talked about finding freedom and love here haha. I know he goes to the Indy 500 sometimes)

I really hope that show is released, it's the best bet for a new DVD and I'd really like to have something other than Live In Texas, which, really, wasn't an amazing performance by the band.

    haha you're right

well i was right behind the camera guy as you can just make out - so my view would almost be identical to the one on the DVD  (which would be amazing!! (if it came out of course))

    @TheRock Chick

yeh pretty much  apart some a few snippets of brilliance, i wasnt fond of LIT at all.. im pretty sure most other people think that way too

It's not a bad show... It's just that LP can put on much better shows than that. It's just disapointing that they chose to record a tour where they were playing in the middle of the day, for Metallica fans.
They would've been better off recording something from Projekt Rev.

Frat Party 2 it's gonna be called. And it's going to have the fight between Busta Rhymes getting in shit cos he's touching Brad's hair in it. Lol.

It's hard to have "another" one when they haven't released a first one...

They can fix that if they intend to release it, I assume.

Aren't they showing it on TV, though? In Japan, or something?

    i havnt heard that one..

i bet that it gets shown at least. i hoping for a DVD though :) hell, they had spirit levels out making sure that the track that the camera was on ran smoothly.. it makes a lot more sense when you think about it if it was being recored for a DVD than if it wasnt. i live in hope :)
