Linkin Park Radio Now Online

Linkin Park has teamed up with A.P.E. Radio to launch their very own radio channel, dubbed as "Linkin Park Radio". According to A.P.E. Radio website the channel will broadcast a "plethora of content, including previously unreleased tracks, demos and covers that can’t be heard anywhere else..."

“We’re very excited to launch the Linkin Park station on A.P.E. Radio,” said Mike Shinoda, co-lead vocalist of Linkin Park. “This is our first radio station where you can tune in and hear some of our favorite music – songs that we grew up on, and new music we think is exciting. We’re also going to premiere rare and exclusive LP music, and take calls from some of our favorite fans… and you get to hear us pretend to be DJs. It’s going to be a slice of the world through the eyes and ears of Linkin Park.”

I love it! Mike just introduced a Run DMC song. It's gonna be cool hearing the band members talk about the songs that influenced them...and hell yes! New LP? Sounds good.

 

I like how Mike always has to pretend to think and say, "I think it was Raising Hell" when he's had to mention that album a billion times.

 

Sick! I can listen to Linkin Park radio on the go now since I have an Iphone. And I think i just heard Chester on the radio. Even more awesome.

 

New tracks? I'm also confused.

 

So far, the only "new" track has been Pretend to Be from LPUX, so I'm guessing that's what they meant by new.

 

I do remember Mike talking about this. He mentioned playing rare LP/FM tracks. But yeah, as Joe said, none of it will literally be "unheard."

 

I've been waiting for this.

 

I love how obviously you can tell who chose which song to be played.
