Linkin Park Reconstruction EP

Previously know as The Linkin Park Projekt.

Over the past few months I have been working on a Linkin Park reconstruction EP album which is basically a mash of either two Linkin Park songs, or one Linkin Park with another song. This is what I have been doing in the time since I began and now, and finally the time is coming to reveal the full track-list and release the album, which is exciting but worrying at the same time because I don't want to let you guys down. So I can reveal there are six tracks that make this EP.

The first track is an opener mixing Wake, Wake 2.0, Foreword and Empty Spaces creating Wake 3.0. I plan to make a lot of the tracks from Linkin Park's new album, A Thousand Suns but it all depends on the best sounding mixes when I finish them all.

On Saturday, the 11th of September I will probably reveal one or two mores tracks and give you guys a preview of some of them too. This way I can keep you interested, and you can let me know what you think, and just in case you spot something I miss that needs to be fixed.

I expect the EP to be complete by the end of October, probably earlier though because I am really getting right back into this now.

Today is Friday and so this will give me two and a half days to work on the EP. I am hoping to get two or three remixes done by the end of the weekend and also release at least one preview so that you guys aren't left hanging again because last time people probably though the project was dead.
Please, if you have any good mash-up ideas on you mind tell me. If you give me and idea, it might end up on the EP if it sounds good.

 

I really enjoyed Wake 3.0, although I can say i'm not a fan of the title of the track. I must say though, it caught my intrest. I'm still working on stuff for my The Catalyst remix, such as trying new methods of creating sounds, just like the band did with this record. So if you need some help, I can show you my work.

Not to make this A Thousand Suns 2.0, but I really think some warping of the speech would be pretty cool.

I have changed the title of the first track to Network. Why? The speech you hear is actually from a very old movie called The Network, hence the name of the track.

 

I'll totally listen to it, I love fan remixes!

Unfortunately, Hawk was banned, so, I think it is safe to say we won't be getting updates on this anytime in the future.

I never heard the full song of that until now. That was sick.
