Linkin Park To Start Filming Music Video For New Single Today

    Following up from our earlier post in regards to Linkin Park's rumored upcoming single "Burn It Down", Phoenix has announced on his twitter that the band are starting work on their new music video with Joseph Hahn once again at the helm as director. Here is the tweet below:


    While it is unconfirmed as to whether or not "Burn It Down" is indeed the name of the new single, or if the rumored release date was official, this recent tweet suggests we will certainly be hearing new Linkin Park really soon!

    Everyime I see that link I'm voting for LP's opponent. Who cares who wins a stupid MTV poll? MTV hasn't been relevant in music in decades. The only think MTV is good for is if you want to see a bunch of drunk Guidos who are an embarrassment to the state of New Jersey and country of Italy, or 16 year olds who are pregnant. Not even Beavis and Butthead can redeem MTV for the horrors they have inflicted on American culture.

    Just beginning to shoot the video? I thought they already began shooting like weeks ago, when chester said so himself.

    Things change frequently in the music industry. They may have planned to start a few weeks ago, but things got delayed. It happens.

    Stupid theory :
    Maybe the video they apparently shot some weeks ago (as chester said on twitter) was the "burn it down" video but they finally wanted to pick another song to make their first single and they are now shooting another video for another song (which is not burning down and would explain the fact that burning down has been removed from all access).

    Surely untrue x) .

    It's not exactly far fetched alex. Even though I don't believe it's the case, LP already have filmed two videos close to eachother during the Meteora days, so it's not totally far fetched.

    lol todd admin agree! cant wait to hear new music. guys there are going to be daily rumours always is when a band is due to release new album the fact they are shooting video means we will hear sooner rather than later. but i can tell you from experiance its not the shooting of the video its the post production thats time consuming so a little more patience but going in the right direction its going to be epic!!!

    so the new single should be out by mid April . Nice that mean's we'll see the album released some time in September. hopefully....
