    ...
    I just read in LP:BR that the info of AA about the date was true, but the name of the single is uncertain yet, plus the album comes out in the last week of June.

    There's a good chance of this being true because LP:BR has support by Warner here in Brazil and they always get exclusive news about albums and singles releases. They were right before at the time of ATS's releases, such as the show here in 2010.

    What do you think???

    I can already predict the outcome of this release. Headlines read, "Linkin Park's new single and video is the definitive act in which their fans will be polarized!". Lol this video will most definitely involve torches. It must.

    i dont think itll be that long of a wait. new single in april and album in september, thats way too long. im guessing by the end of june or early july is when the new album is coming out. i just hope its during the summer so i could sit back all summer and do nothing and listen to their wonderful music.

    that is why i fuckin love this band. instead of taking 2+ years off and doing nothing and then starting from scratch to make a new album, their always writing even while touring. no other band from what i know, puts into much dedication and determination as linkin park does into every album to make it artistic and challenging.

    First single mid-April, album late June? I really hope so :) Hopefully the new video is great, I'm kinda tired of the ATS slow-mo videos :p

    My advice about believing an album release date rumor/rumor about the song name: Wait until the band says anything. It doesn't matter what someone supposedly within Warner Brothers says, because anything can change. And before I get an angry reply from LPBR...let me just state that having worked on LPA for 10 years, I know that until something is stated as FINAL it can change in a heartbeat.

    That's already been discussed. Chances are they might not have had the final mix of the single done, couldn't get a shooting permit for those dates, or the entire shoot got delayed for unforeseen reasons. There's plenty of causes.

    Derek, is it possible that the video shoot could have taken more than one day? and they didn't finish last time and just got back around to it?
