So the albums were released in the German speaking countries today and THP is at #1 on iTunes in each of those countries. That's a good sign for sure but I'm not too optimistic for the US.

Linkin Park released the better album, that's for sure.

It was a big sudden drop. Meh. We'll have to wait and see how much LP and all sell when the album physically releases.

I don't understand what the point of this post was?

Not trying to hate, could you explain what you mean by posting both of these?

Good thing we all have opinions because I disagree.

Between Sam and Lana, Sam should get it. Ultraviolence for the most part is bland and uninspiring. Sam's vocals shine on this album, and IMO, rivals Adele.

While I do enjoy Sam's album, I enjoy Lana's album more. The thing about Lana's vocals is what makes the album good. It has a very chill vibe which compliments the album to it's finest in my opinion.

Not gonna lie, I expect this album to be a sloooooooow seller. It seems to be getting a really good critical reception so far though, which is a welcome change.

Also the Lana album really does suck holy shit. It might grow on me the more I listen but jesus christ what a letdown.

Both of them also dropped few places. Lana is at 8 whereas Sam is at 9th. LP is 19th

Personally, I love a lot of songs by Lana. But I find it hard to even like any of the new singles she has released. BTD was a great album but I'm not digging what I've heard from this one.

It seems LP will beat Lana and Sam in germany/austria/russia and japan.

UK will be close. Lana is #2 in itunes and LP #3. We will see...

I think Linkin Park is the strongest act in physical sales, compared to Lana and Sam.

we will see, i am 100% sure that they will get the #1 here in Germany, also if its not that important. But i would be happy for them.

This is true. LP only beat M5 back in 2012 because they sold more physical CDs. Maroon 5 actually beat LP in Digital Albums chart while LP beat M5 in the Billboard 200.

I have no doubt they win in foreign contries. In the US though, I still think Lana wins.

Sam is number 1, Lana is number 2 and Linkin Park are 3rd on the itunes chart in US. All rose suddenly.
