Live Earth Tokyo Starts Within Hours

    Linkin Park are set to perform at the Live Earth concert in Tokyo, Japan tonight, to help kick start the festivities set to take place all day tomorrow, July 7th. Because of Japan's location, the Tokyo show will be the second concert to start. The concert begins at 11pm EST tonight, according to MSN.com.

    Linkin Park is set to play at 5AM EST, although the set time is subject to change.

    Linkin Park is all set to perform in Tokyo as part of the LIVE EARTH event tomorrow 7/7/07!! Set time is 6:00 PM JST / 2:00 AM PST / 5:00 AM EST. (Set time subject to change).

    TV COVERAGE: Bravo, MSNBC, Sundance, Universal HD, CNBC, Telemundo and a NBC three hour highlights show airing 7/7/07 at 8:00 PM.

    ONLINE: The entire Live Earth event will be streamed LIVE on http://www.liveearth.msn.com/.

    SATELLITE RADIO: Live Earth will be broadcast LIVE on SIRIUS (Tokyo feed is on "The Boombox" channel 34) and XM RADIO (Tokyo feed is channel XM42) as well as miscellaneous radio stations around the country

    I hate timezones, but from what I can etract it is around 10 am in Denmark that they'll hit the stage. so a little less than 11 hours from now.

    Yeah, I'll be watching Wimbledon at that time so a rip would be appreciated :)

    Okay, so on SIRIUS is it only on channel 34? 'Cause I listen to Octane and they were talking about it the other day about broadcasting it but I'm not sure if they were talking about a different SIRIUS channel to broadcast it. Does anyone know if it will also be broadcasted on SIRIUS Octane channel 20?

    Yeah if anyone can rip a video of the concert that'd be great. I know I won't be up at 4am tomorrow.

    im always awake really late. and im only going to rip the Tokyo part, but what software do i use? ill be watching this online so...

    no guarantees though, but ill try my hardest to rip it.

    Don't know about the software though, I always wondered how you guys ripped audio or video clips with such high quality.

    Linkin Park or Rihanna?!

    Because i saw the schedule on the Live earth site...and Rihanna headline´s it!

    Tokyo EST time for US is 11 PM starting time if any of you are confused and are in EST time, i was just watchin the Stream for the show and its showin live earth commericals till the show and then it showed times and bands
