I think one thing has to do something with the other -the play and the "old effect" maybe?
Holy shit !! The is a face in the second picture !!
I can see:
1st picture: DOH
2nd picture: ROCK
still looks like it says SHOCK.
I hate to sound like the pessimist but maybe it's just a bunch of randomly watermarked letters that don't coincide with the actual bolded letters, designed to throw us off the plain viewed clue?
Shock is read up top, there appears to be, a "n" after, below Shock "n", is a AP, but it looks like there's more to the word obviously
As soon as I read "We are born and we die" I immediately thought of a hospital. No idea where or what one though.
And then putting the quote into Google search I found an article about worshipping VISHNU... Coincidence?
If there is something hidden in the paper, whoever has it should hold it against the light or something. Is a bit risky tho to think those are important details, since it would mean the clues are left in the hand of common people and maybe could never see the light of the day, or surely not recognizable through a photoshop editing of a simple photo in low-res.

It's the best that I can do.
I read CHUCK...
Okay, Kameiko and I think the first image shows SHOCK backwards as well...
You need the original to really get a good look and what it is =/
Definitely HOCK, I don't see the "S" that everyone else seems to see
Guys.. i'm pretty sure its the same letters on both sides.. just imagine you fold the paper in two, making the top right corner cover the top left one. I think the letters are like...someone wrote on the right side, and folded it onto the opposite side to creats a mirror like effect..
We so smart.
A clear D and U can be seen.
If you look closely, it says "Shocking Chap"
The next clue is definitely in England
To me it looks like one can be fliped over the other and it's the same. If you look at the SHOCK thing backwards it can be DOH-like... I dunno
It says Chuck.
does somebody stop to think that maybe there is no specific clue or any hidden word in those details ,but in the set....its just too difficult to made a single word in there
Separate names with a comma.
