Has anyone pointed out BURN IT DOWN is actually the longest track on the record?

I want my damn CD and I'll make a judgement. And sure, I would've liked VICTIMIZED to be a little bit longer, but once I hear it I know it'll slap me in the face and say "you BITCH said I was too short? How but now HUH????" My face will hurt but it'll be good

 

We will get previews in about 2 weeks I'd say. But you're right, full album is when we will make our final judgements.

 

Maybe VICTIMIZED, is like a Jornada Del Muerto but with FURY ?

Is in the middle of the TRACKLIST, maybe is like a kind of Interlude ?

we are surprised that victimized is so short, so its a fire cracker album, we know that, but I dont think anyone expected a song to be that short

 

I wasn't a fan of neither BID nor LGM and now it looks like the longest track on the album, BID, clocks in at 3:50. That's a bad look if you ask me.

I'm getting more and more on the fence with this album.

 

These songs better pack a lot of good shit in them with how short they are.

This is a perfect example of short song with style and heaviness. I already accepted a long time ago that due to the time that went into this album it was never going to top A Thousand Suns. Take it for what it is, a bunch of fun, energetic Linkin Park songs, and nothing else.

 

Track lengths aside, I don't think this album is going to top either Reanimation or A Thousand Suns...

I don't like this band, but i think is a good example.

 

Reanimation was topd with meteora
ATS got serious competition right now
If you put side to side the weak songs of ATS(assuming BID and LGM were the weakest)
Living things is winning that batlle right now (IMO)

BID (weakest from LT)---------TM (weakest from ATS)
LGM(Second weakest from LT)--------WAK( second weakest from ATS)

 

I hoped VICTIMIZED is at least 2:30 minutes long...but I think It'll be great in the end.

 

Maybe VICTIMIZED is a 1:46 song of just Chester holing a scream that long with an insane riff? Haha

 

Agreed. I'm trying not to be less anticipated for this album but I can't help it when I'm dissapointed with the first two tracks.

 

The first Release date is on 22th June, just can't remember where it's going to be released.

Aaaand this. Pertaining specifically to these track lengths though, the only thing that I don't mind is the length of Victimized, because it'll be over quickly.
