First verse: Look at this place where I lay my head down at night Look at these shoes where my soles got the blues just right Look at these tears that I'm crying but not for you Look at today cuz tomorrows a bother oooh Chorus: And I'm down to my last nickel, haven't got a dime to spare I'm feeding off the needy, got my needle and I shouldn't care I'm taking it in tryin to feel what I really feel Losing my ways half the battle and I just deal yeah I just deal Second verse: Look at this place where I lay my head down at night Memories and dreams of the past that I try to fight Look at me hiding in shadows out of the sun Lookin for reasons to stay but then I just run Chorus 1st verse repeat The End I wrote this song over 2 years ago which is now on my cd, Follow Me. I was going through a lot of stuff then. It's something I've written that I'll never give to anyone. This one's mine.
Hmmmm..... Pretty good, i found it a bit to repetative for a poem, but as a song and played with music, which it is, it may work well. So hard to say. But for someone who likes three days grace, i don't think i should be complaining about repetativeness in songs.
this is definitely a song. It's the first one Iv'e ever written. It's actually a way cool song with the music.
this is actually alright but i would be better to hear it as the song with the music. still, i like it!
