So, I was basically messing with some electronic sounds. At first, I only made the intro for this remix. It was pretty random, then I came up with a melody and eventually, it became a Lost In The Echo remix.. Pretty random, I know

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you guys gave me some feedback. This is pretty much the first version I'm actually satisfied with. If someone can help me with mixing by giving tips, feel free to do so since I still need to learn a lot on that department.

    Normal version: http://soundcloud.com/d3cay/lost-lite-remix
    Instrumental version: http://soundcloud.com/d3cay/lost-lite-remix-instrumental

    Thanks! :3

    Needs more BID :kappa:

It's a great remix but you're right, the mixing does need to be better and the bass needs to be more prominent and louder.

The reason why some sounds are too silent (probably the bass as well) is because I'm literally afraid of making things too loud and making other stuff disappear because of it. But I guess that fear is present because I have don't really have a clue of how loud things should be. I just rely on my instincts when mixing

Anyway, thanks! Glad you liked it!

And I'll consider adding some BID, since BID makes every remix a good remix :kappa:

One way to determine whether something sounds too quite or too loud to you when mixing is to question it yourself. If you think, after mixing, that certain elements are too loud/quiet then you adjust it as necessary.

If it sounds good to you, then stick with it.

Creamy Delight, your remix is great! But is lacking a bit of BID.

It sounds good to me because I know this is currently the best I can do on the mixing part. But I know it can be better :)

Its actually a very good remix! No doubt.
The only things i would say:
    AND
The instrumental itself is very awesome but
    I THINK (my opinion)
If you add vocals - it need harder kick drums

    thats all :)
    very good job

    i really like it!
