It is to be released late spring/ early summer 2006. source (www.theprp.com) In other news, there have been rumors of the identity of the new Lostprophets drummer. The new Prophets drummer is rumored to be Ian Rubin (former drummer of Denver Harbor). source (http://www.vater.com/artists/artistpage.cfm?ID=297&Country=artists)
There are two men named Ian in the same band. That may or may not cause confusion. I'm going to start calling the old Ian just Watkins. He'll be like Sherlock Holmes. But... sing-y-er.
i really cant wait they are unreal live so hopefully they will play a few shows that i can get to, to hear the new material start something, and the fake sound of progress where something special so i hope this is too
im looking forward to the new album, but really want to catch them live, heard from friends they are really good. and yeh, if the album is as good as the first 2 i'll be happy
UPDATE: Lostprophets will be finished mixing Wednesday Source: Lostprophet's official myspace (www.myspace.com/lostprophets)
Yeah. Chad Kroeger's label 604 Records is based here (604 is Vancouver's area code). Hope the guys in Lostprophets are enjoying the great weather we've had lately. We've got a ton of up-and-coming bands too. You definitely have to check out the Armchair Cynics. 'Coalmine' is a great song.
30 Seconds to Mars had their CD leaked before it was pressed. Numerous other bands have as well, but this is the best example I can think of. It's not likely to happen now, though. Labels are much more protective of their property now.
It'll still happen and you know it. There is no sure-fire way that a label can stop the leaking of a CD. It's a part of the times now.
