I think ATS is ace, and I was really looking forward to watching the Meeting of a thousand suns dvd, but was HUGELY disappointed with it. I was hoping it would be like the MTM bonus dvd, where you got to seem them working on different songs, and showing how each song evolved and was created. But instead its 90% static/distortion noises and images (which got really annoying after about five minutes and started to give me a headache), 5% the band arguing over what a song should sound like, 3% Mike telling us what he's said in every single interview for the last 4 months about "we wanted to just think outside the box", and 2% actual 'how we made the songs'. Very disappointed. It was actually...boring. Especially the bit where it plays a three minute version of The Catalyst and just shows images of the guys looking contemplative and tired.
