Ok here's how it stands in terms of possible "artists":

    Rap Artists:
    Elie,
    Will,
Hydroponikz (or "Ryan", haven't totally asked him tho),
    Me(Ha yea right)

    Mixers:
    Me and "xero"

    Singing Vocalists:
Possibly this chick who according to my friend Ryan can sing really good and possibly Will.

    Beat Makers:
    Shadow(maybe? He seems interested)

    <As will said>:
    Art Direction: Derek Oswald
Art Design: Derek Oswald & Will Maltby

That's where it stands right now.

sounds good, and if you want a seperate website for the album, I can probably do that with a domain and all (since the LPA has run out of bandwidth a few times before)

Elie a "rapper". Uh, that sounds so juvenille. LOL. "Emcee" or "vocalist". That sounds so much more better. lol. now, if only i could do a duet with WILL

what are you gonna do for guitar, bass and drums? Are you just gonna take the LP stuff and incoporate it in? Cuz' if you want it to be original then you have to have somebody besides LP to play the parts.......

(P.S. I play bass and can rap too.......)

I think, all the emcee's should work on a track together. Like, the begining would be them battling and bagging on each other in their own little verses. Than, last verse, they ryhme together, showing their unity and hybrid. Like LinkiN Park. DAMN I should really be the producer of this CD. LOL...haha...nm. I am talking aloud and to myself right now.

Just an idea but why not have multiple people doing different songs?
Like maybe some 1 emcee on Papercut, another on In The End and then on a song like With You have everyone callaborate?

Just an idea tell me what you think...

I like your idea, but I'm not really good at coming up with rhymes where I put another person down, like in a battle. I can come up with some nice rhymes (most of my songs are in the lyricists forum if you want to check them out) but I'd probably suck in a battle.

As for guitar, bass, and drums: This album isn't going to be completed in a week, so we'll have some time to do it. Hopefully we'll be able to find people talented enough to lay down the tracks for us and the vocalists and mixers can do the rest. As far as I know, Derek is taking bass lessons soon and I'm taking up guitar (along with my friend) late this spring and during the summer, so I'll be able to contribute somewhat to that.

As for the CD being produced: We don't plan on making any sort of profit off of this, so there isn't any real "producer," but if we had to name one it'd probably be the LPA since we're the one's heading this project, I guess.

Later tonight I'm going to record an acapella of me going over Mike's parts from a song that Derek's going to choose for me, and when I get that done and it's modified to sound better and stuff, I'll post it.

We're going to do that. We're not going to have one emcee do every song or have every emcee do every song. We're going to spread it out so each emcee has an equal amount of parts on the album.

And we're going to be using Hybrid Theory EP, Hybrid Theory, and Meteora, as well as the B-sides "My December," "Dedicated," and "High Voltage."

Anyone who wants to help can, but we're only going to select the best. If you want to be on the album, somehow record a sample and send it to Derek, since he's the head-honcho in this whole project.

If you need a bassist I can help ya with that....... I just hope that Derek can get a 5-string bass because most of LP's songs are played on a 5-string bass guitar........
