    Unfortunately as much as I'd like to, that's not up to me. Linkin Park/Warner own the original rights to the music and (as far as I know) selling these without their permission would be a violation of copyright laws.

    I'd say if you guys are looking for this (or something like this) to become an official release, the best way to make it happen is by getting the band/management's attention and letting them know. Share the album with others in the LP community and show those in charge it's something you guys really want. Stranger things have happened, and I'm sure if the band saw how serious the fan base/community was about some official 8-bit LP music releases, they'd figure something out. :)

    While I know Keaton loves the enthusiasm you guys have for getting this album sold, unfortunately its not as easy as it looks to get this album pressed, sold and released worldwide. Making an album costs money, and selling a product with Linkin Park's name on it means going through licensing, wrangling with Warner legal and signing boatloads of contracts until half the profit from the disc is gone.

    And then there's the issue of ethics as to whether or not is really a good idea to be making money off of the band.

    So really, the best thing to do if you want this cd heard or if you want to help lpa, is to link your friends to the first post of this thread. Tell people about this album on twitter/fb/your blogs, and get people to sign up to the boards. The more people we have active on these boards, the more attention we'll get from the band and mgmt, and the more our site is mentioned across the web the more it'll come up in google.

    You guys are our greatest ally. You want to help us be bigger and better and to be able to accomplish even more in the future? Spread the word and the rest will follow :).

    I was part of the LPU 8 Bit testing event so I already listened to some of the "remixed" songs Mike produced for the game. But I have to say that I prefer some of your versions :D Great work !
