Episode 3 of Linkin Park's "LPTV," which chronicles the band post-Meteora to pre-Minutes to Midnight release, is now available to watch on the band's YouTube channel. This installment features the band's experiences on the Summer Sanitarium tour with Limp Bizkit and Metallica.

    Thanks to Musicphreke and Mel!

Since I responded to your email first, you got the credit. I'll also credit Mel (since he was technically first), but usually we only credit the first to post the news (and with a link).

Yet another short, Meteora era based episode. Not that I'm pissed, but I really want episode(s) concerning the new album.

Well, you can always do the math and figure out when the last tour epi. is released, and thus when the new album ep. start rolling out.

If they are also this short, well, it'll be really unpleasant.

Well, what do you expect. They said they'll have 8 episodes of the Meteora touring cycle. So just sit back and wait until episode 9.

yeah no doubt. luckily we're almost halfway through the touring episodes already. that's basically like, what, only 2.5 more weeks of these [if they keep the steady pace of posting them on Mondays & Thursdays]. hopefully the MTM episodes will be a bit longer; you'd think they would be anyway. new stuff, so much to cover, longer episodes. it works, right?

Man, I wish somebody would make a really good dual wallpaper using the animations at the beginning of the new LPTV episodes. That would be awesome.

This is not pure sarcasm but an actual question: do you think as many people would be complaining if they combined episodes to make them approx 5 minutes in length? Or is it just the fact that they're about tours is making people mad?

For me it's the touring that is boring me to death.

I don't mind what the episodes are about, I just love the black and white animations that are at the intro and outros of the episodes. They're freaking sick. It'd be cool to get some walls of them, like of Brad throwing his guitar around, Chester doing the 'monkey jump', or Joe throwing his hands up behind his table....Does anybody else think those are amazing?

Well, it's definitely more amazing than the episode itself.

honestly i dont mind the old footage at all. its the fact that its only 2 and a half minutes that bothers me. ive been to alot of the PR:03 and SS shows and lp had cameras following them everywhere (i was even taped with them :-D ). it just seems after this they will still be left with a ton of unused footage.
