Her career as Holly Brook wasn't really working. So I guess the name change was part of relaunching her career. Also, I think Alex da Kid might have to do something with it... like building an edgy image for her. Lets face it Skylar Grey sounds pretty damn edgy lol.
I found it just a little unnerving that she more or less completely severed the whole 'Holly Brook' thing and came out of nowhere with this whole new identity. :" But, yeah, she's obviously going places now and that's awesome.
i prefered this to the other singles i've heard from the lasers sessions. still, i've not really been a fan since food & liquor.
I heard him spit part of the 1st verse acapella and was like "wtf?" prolly cuz I like Obama, but really I completely agree with dude. This song will make people really mad, and I hope it gets the attention it deserves
I just didn't like the stuff about Israel and Palestine in general, but I misunderstood it. Or at least I think I did.
I'm still digesting the lyrics a little. I'm an overall Obama supporter but I suppose what he's ridiculing him of is fair. His views on education reform are actually similar to Obama.
He kind of addresses both sides actually, or at least I'm assuming that's what the start of the second verse is. I'd rather that, than him looking at it in black and white and trying to make it either "Israel are just protecting themselves from terrorists" or "Palestine are just fighting off oppressors" like most people do.
