Along with Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), James D'Arcy (Edwin Jarvis) and Enver Gjokaj (Daniel Sousa) have been confirmed as returning as main cast members for season two. In addition, Chad Michael Murray (Jack Thompson), Bridget Reagan (Dottie Underwood), and Lyndsy Fonseca (Angie Martinelli) will likely be returning as well.
I hope this means Lyndsy Fonseca will be a regular. I'm not sure about Bridget Reagan being upgraded if ever, since she's also in Jane the Virgin in a recurring role.
Kurtwood Smith (That '70s Show) will play a recurring character throughout season two. It's unknown whether or not he'll be planting his foot in the backside's of any bad guys, though.
I'm pretty sure the showrunners got him because Smith was a regular in their previous show Resurrection. He's a good actor, so I'm optimistic.
Season 2 premiered today. I heard it's a lot better than season 1.
Doctor Faustus gets arrested with Arnim Zola, Dottie Underwood gets away, Carter stops Howard Stark from hypnosis, Carter throws away Cap's blood and moves on, Thompson's still sort of a jerk.
Season 1 was pretty bad. It was basically Feminism: The TV Series. This season is really good. Thank christ they are making an interesting story finally.
That's great to hear! I hear that the Hollywood setting really helped the series. Also there's a certain flamingo that's making waves in the show.
How's the season, guys? I heard this season is a lot better than the first but the ratings are pretty bad. http://variety.com/2016/tv/columns/marvels-agent-carter-1201718887/
I, too, heard it was better than last season, despite the ratings, but I haven't gotten around to watching it. I wanted to wait for all the episodes to be out so I could, ah, acquire them to watch them all in one go. Hayley Atwell confirmed that a third season is still possible despite her being signed on for another ABC show. I'm guessing they'd have to make sure the shooting schedules wouldn't affect one another before greenlighting a third season. Personally, if ABC doesn't want to commit, if I were Marvel, I'd see if Netflix wanted to pick the show up.
It started out really good. Then I rolled my eyes a million times the last few episodes. Stupid waste of a story.
