I still dont know what you're talkin about, I dont spend my days watching every single interview they've ever done, but I doubt they say stuff like that cuz it'd be pretty stupid, and of course they're ognna be bored after playing the same song after 10 years they obviously wanna play the stuff from the new albums, watch concerts from 2003 and you will see how they love playing songs from meteora dude

You're using what is clearly a gimmick that is clearly unrelated to the discussion to shy away from the fact that you were completely wrong in your statement that "I doubt they say stuff like that cuz it'd be pretty stupid".

At least when I find that I'm wrong (in the rare cases that this happens. I think the last time was in 2009), I'll admit to it. Be a man. Say it. "Okay, I was wrong."

Many jokes. Several interviews. Several statements. Just because you're too lazy to look it up yourself doesn't mean we're wrong.

You say, "I still dont know what you're talkin about, I dont spend my days watching every single interview they've ever done". Guess what happens? Someone points out an instance of them talking lowly of Meteora. You were given proof and you're brushing it off. What, do you want an essay pointing out every instance of them talking about Meteora in this manner?

Oh dear god. This is some of the worst arguing I've ever seen. This is the exact reason everyone stereotypes people who love Meteora and Hybrid Theory. The intelligent ones get completely overshadowed by these guys.

I like Meteora. It's certainly not my favorite, but I don't dislike it in any way. That album got me listening to Linkin Park, in fact. If anything "went wrong" with Meteora, it was probably because they weren't allowed to experiment like they would've preferred.

I'm too lazy to bring up the THOUSANDS of interviews that exist where Mike or the bandmembers said HT Part II. Everyone here knows that they said that except you and other newbies. So don't deny that it didn't happen.

I have no interest going over scans of interviews to prove the point that Meteora was called, directly or indirectly, "Hybrid Theory Part 2". During the MTM sessions and lead-up promotional campaign the band constantly defended their choice to move away from the nu-metal genre by stating they didn't want to make a "Hybrid Theory Part 3".

So many people know this and have stated it here over the years. You'll have to take our word for it.

Here's a quote that somewhat supports what everyone has been saying:
"After Meteora‘s success, we realized that we needed to step back and think about our future, in order to have one. We decided we had to had to veer away from the main thing upon which our success was built: the music."
