    I actually watched a video where they played Pushing Me Away and Numb at the same time, and it was literally the same thing... (Numb was slowed down a little bit to match the BPM of PMA.)

    I can't compare the newer albums with Hybrid Theory, but with Meteora I can, and I always know that HT was better. That's my problem with Meteora.

    And the key would have been changed too - but, yes, properly transposed, the chord progressions are pretty much identical.

    As far as I am concerned, Linkin Park haven't made a bad album. Meteora has my favourite song on it, From The Inside. I think that it's not their best, but it's not as bad as everyone says imo. I probably rate their discography like this ATS> HT/LT (can't decide which I prefer) > MET/MTM (again can't decide which way round they go)

    The majority of the problem is that most of the fanbase feels like they need to compare everything. I'm not taking a shot at you, Chris, I'm just stating a fact. Fans like to talk about "This Vs. That." I think that might be a reason that I still don't hate Meteora. I don't judge their music like that.

    I think Meteora is their best by far, and Im actually decently shocked to see the amount of people who dont enjoy it as much. To me, Somewhere I Belong, Lying From You, Faint, Breaking the Habit, From the Inside, and Numb are all classics. And together, the album is spectacular. It does have its low points for sure, Dont Stay I'd say is one. But to me, not one song is below a 4/5 stars in my iTunes library. Its an amazing album, and my favorite by any band of all time.

    just because some people don't like it anymore, it doesn't mean it's bad,the album is great,and live is fantastic.

    There isn't anything 'wrong' with Meteora. I feel since the new album is out and people are digging it, you lot need something new to channel your negativity towards. Technically and sonically it's great. You don't dig the songs, sweet. Good for you. Album is still good, great even. Haters shall hate though, so...as you were.
